Hi, my name is Tara. In a nutshell, I'm a mom to an epic golden retriever named Sophie, a seeker of adventure and shenanigans, a photography enthusiast, and a writer. I don't consider myself a photographer but a gal with a camera who has an insatiable curiosity to learn and grow in my abilities. 

I recently left my big corporate job in tech and have repurposed my time to writing the book that's been writing itself in the background of my life for the past couple of years. It's exciting and scary and all the feels, but I knew I didn't want to be one of those people who always wished to write but never did. It's been a beautiful pause, allowing me to catch up to my dreams!

I created this site to share my travel experiences—and my book once it's ready! I want to take you along on my photography journey, not just showing you the landscape as I saw it but also highlighting the details, the miniature scenes within the scene, and, most importantly, conveying a feeling about the experience. It will allow you to follow along visually with the stories I'll share through the book.

I'm currently shooting with a Fuji X-T5. I have a variety of zoom and prime lenses, but my current favorites are the 80mm macro lens and 90mm prime lens, and my most used is the 16-55mm zoom lens.
