Hi, my name is Tara. I'm mom to an epic golden retriever named Sophie, a seeker of adventure and shenanigans, a photography enthusiast, and a writer in the process of completing my debut memoir. I don't consider myself a photographer but a gal with a camera and an insatiable curiosity to learn and grow in my abilities. 

I created this site to visually share my travel experiences and, once published, my memoir. My photography vision is twofold. One is to connect my inner thoughts to the outer landscape, to take you along on my photography journey while conveying a feeling about the experience. The other is to play, to have fun, and to make happy accidents, as Bob Ross loved to say. 

I shoot with a Fuji X-T5 and while my first love is in landscapes, I've taken an interest in portrait and lifestyle photography. My current favorite lens is the 90mm prime, and my most used is the 50-140mm zoom.
